Your Guide to Atlanta's Winter Wonderland in the Park at Grant Park
If you are looking for something to do with the family this December, Atlanta's Winter Wonderland in the Park is coming to Grant Park on December 11, 12 and 13, 2026. Doors are open from 12PM to 10PM each day, so you can come for an afternoon with kids or an evening under the lights.
The experiences
Wonderland Ice Rink. Skate under thousands of twinkling lights with festive music, with hot cocoa stations close by.
Santa's Village. Meet Santa, share Christmas wishes, and get the holiday photo you will keep for years.
Winter Igloo Village. Private heated igloos for family gatherings, date nights and corporate groups.
Holiday Spirits Garden. An adult friendly spot with seasonal cocktails, holiday decor and fire pits.
Main Stage. Live performances and celebrity activations. Join the waitlist on the website to hear first which artists are announced.
Food, shopping and giving back
Expect holiday food and dessert vendors and a holiday marketplace, so you can eat, shop and skip a trip to the mall. The festival also runs a toy drive with charitable partners to bring joy to families across Metro Atlanta.
Planning tips
- RSVP is free on the website, and several experiences have their own ticket pages, so check each one before you go.
- Igloos are private, so groups who want one should look at that page early.
- Dress in layers. Evenings in the park get cold.
- Going with kids? The afternoon is the easiest time to meet Santa and skate before the evening crowd.

Grant Park is at 840 Cherokee Ave SE in Atlanta. Give yourself extra time for parking and plan for walking.
